Hello my name is Kevin. I have a local home business in Concord, Ca. called Chef Kev’s Speciality Foods.


Food has always been a big part of my life. I attended New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. Afterward, I worked at a variety of places, from catering to fine dining at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. I also worked in outside sales for a food distributor. With my varied experience I decided to combine my talents with food and sales and start my own business.


In 2013, I started my Cottage Food business, Chef Kev's Specialty Foods, where I have been specializing in peanut snacks at local breweries. The products are made in a home kitchen.


I’m a homebrewer, and decided to come up with snacks to complement beer. Our 

products are made in small batches from family recipes. I make a variety of peanut snacks including Salted Peanuts, Sea Salt & Black Pepper Peanuts, Spicy Peanuts and Thai Spicy Peanuts to pair well with beer. I also make a Spicy Peanut Brittle and Trail Mixes. I have my peanut products in breweries, as well as local stores.
